Pick it and it won't ever heal.😢
his music is what will be getting me through 2025
God, what a beautiful song.
you say well,I`ll agree...
0:22 🤣 That flew right over my head at first
I hate to classify this as country music. Its so pure.sometimes music is just music. And a song is just a song. Its a perfect song. Not just a perfect song.
I love to sing this song!
Maybe the greatest country song every written.
It's out there for everyone else
He wrote this about two Mexican bandits two weeks after writeing this song.
Formidable l'ami! BB.Bolomé
I listened to this a week after i heard it for the first time,
Woman and man in background smoking, drinking, talking... respect!
How would you all say this was filmed? On what type of device for instance, I was born in 84 and remember camcorder we’ll 🎥
Who is he referring to when he says "it out there for him"
He is letting the feeling loose the people ear is feeling the raw emotion like a freight train on the roll poetic
Still here in 2025
50 years later and we’re still listening. Timeless.
Very true 🎉
They look like some rich folks who have no money.
Not enough people know about this legendary songwriter and musician. Such a pity...

I love TVZ.
All the dust that Pancho ate down south, ended up in Lefty’s mouth….. man,,,,
Thank you so much for turning my day around...you left a mark so big it could not be contained only pushed into the universe...and today l caught YOUR vibe and it filled my sad heart with your spark Thanks again T.
i was the opposite. i was raised by my dad and my mom was absent my dad was the best man i have ever met in my life and if i live to be half the man that he was i will have done most everything right my kids never got to meet him... my mom was absent for most of my teenage years due to alchaholisim but now she is an amazing grandmother to my children. life is tragic and beautiful and mostly strange but im glad i am getting the chance to experience it
Wtf is this I can fart in tune with Pearl Jam better than this nerd can sing
💔
2025 and I’m still here
Hell yeah. Me too. Still out on the road.
I knew a girl who named her boobs pancho and lefty. Cool chick.
My balls are named Pancho and Lefty
I wonder who the girl in the background is?
I think that is his main wife &/or life partner .... & I think she inherited his Estate & Royalties
Legend…one of my hero’s. Songwriting is unmatched.
Awsome!!
My favourite version of this song. Nothing else to say really.
Absolute genius, rivaling joni mitchel or anyone else.
Absolutely
Going to a local restored theater this afternoon to see 2 1/2-hr movie about Bob it’s December 2024 about to be 2025 can’t wait.
As an old Vietnam veteran who served 30 years as an Army field artilleryman, this clip touched me on several levels. Six of my Citadel classmates did not return. May their memories be an eternal blessing. God bless and protect our troops.
There’s something so sad about the federales’ decision to just let Pancho be. To me that’s the heart of this song, that they’re supposed to be the opposing force to the unapologetically rough rebellious Pancho, but instead they just observe. Their kindness is an acceptance that while Pancho fits the larger-than-life archetype of a western outlaw, he’s only human. In the end no one will hear his last words, killed by one of the few men he trusted, who in turn fades into the past as a nobody.
Good analysis .... I offer the following: song is about the music industry, Federales (record company executives? Music Media reporters?) knew that an Act or Song or Career was borrowed or stolen without sufficient acknowledgement or credit ... they were "Authorities" or "Federales" who failed to correct a narrative [or see to it that proper credit & PAY was distributed ....] Cleveland refers to Rock Hall of Fame (you wouldn't have a Mexican bandit song ending up in Cleveland otherwise, imo) ... so, he made it to the Rock Hall but faded away bc he had selfishly stolen from & killed his more talented partner
This is the most real country song ever recorded.
