It was SO GOOD seeing/hearing Townes song performed by Willie and George in celebration of Willie’s bday 😢❤️ I SWEAR I can ABSOLUTELY remember praying for Pancho and Lefty when I was a kid… I guess I remember it because, for one, I do… And then years later, I probably remembered it and thought about how ridiculous it was. But I absolutely did pray for them. I don’t remember the exact prayer, I just threw them into the prayer at some point… It could’ve been just for lefty, I’m not 100%. But I’m telling you I did pray for them. I was born in 1976 so it makes sense. I probably wasn’t the only one who did that.

Townes has been one of my go to artists as I've gotten older ( 41 years old) I rotate Townes , the grateful dead, the band , etc and growing up in Texas I've noticed the old Texas ,Austin natives really speak to me
